Who is behind Raponesa General Store?
Founded by Japanese-Brazilian Creative Director, Ellen Kanamori, the label was launched in 2021 in NYC, thoughtfully reimagining fit to form design in new shapes and materials. Designed with a timeless approach and exceptionally quality to be passed down for generations, the collection plays with the poetic duality of opposing elements in color, material and form.
Each design is always 100% handmade, inspired by Nature & Everything that surround the theme.
Multifaceted Artist, Ellen Kanamori also works as Creative Consultant, Stylist and WoodWorker.
She lived in NYC for 10 years until she moved to Upstate NY to pursue a life with more connection with Nature.
